Welcome to Blickup’s brand resources site. Here you’ll find brand guidelines and downloadable assets as well as information on obtaining permission to use Blickup assets in your own work.

Brand guidelines and assets

Anyone using Blickup’s assets should only use the logos and screenshots found on our Brand Resource Center site and follow these guidelines.

Only those planning to use Blickup’s assets in any broadcast, radio, out-of-home advertising or print larger than 8.5 x 11 inches (A4 size) need to request permission. Requests must be in English and include a mock of how you’re planning to use the Instagram logo.

Using the Blickup brand

Balance the Blickup brand with your brand

Avoid representing the Blickup brand in a way that:

  1. Implies partnership, sponsorship or endorsement.
  2. Makes the Blickup brand the most distinctive or prominent feature.
  3. Puts the Blickup brand in a negative context as part of a script or storyline. You must comply with our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

Keep the word Blickup consistent

Avoid representing the Blickup brand in a way that:

  • If you offer an app, website or a product or service that uses the Blickup APIs or is otherwise compatible with or related to Blickup , you may only use Blickup to say that your app is “for Blickup” or that the name of your campaign is “on Blickup” in a descriptive manner.
  • Don’t modify, abbreviate or translate the word Blickup to a different language or by using non-English characters, or use any of our logos to replace it.
  • Don’t combine “Blickup” with your own brand.
  • Don’t combine any part of the Blickup brand with a company name, other trademarks, or generic terms.

Distance Blickup from other agencies

  • Blickup may be mentioned in a television commercial with Blickup companies.
  • Don’t mention other agencies in the same spot as Blickup, unless it’s a general call to action.
  • If you create a hashtag that uses the word Blickup, it shouldn’t be used on other social networks and you shouldn’t try to acquire or enforce rights over that hashtag.

High-level details on how to use the Blickup logo in your marketing and media communications is included below. Please work closely with your Blickup contact for detailed guidelines and approvals. If you do not have a Blickup contact, submit a request here.

When to use the Blickup logo

  • Partnerships or sponsorships with a formal agreement in place with Blickup
  • Newscasts and news programming
  • Editorials
  • Books, plays, talk shows, TV shows and film scripts
  • Print packaging
  • Marketing or advertising that appears on TV or online


The Blickup logo exists in four color variations.


Use a primary variation whenever possible.


Only use the mono variations in low reproduction environments when a primary variation cannot perform.

Minimum size and clear space

Clear space

The clear space of the Blickup logo is defined by doubling the height of the symbol, which is applied equally around the edges of the logo.

Minimum size

The minimum size of the Blickup logo is defined by the height of the symbol and should never be used below 12px/5mm.

Glyph Icon

The Blickup glyph icon is one of our most globally recognized assets. The primary use of the glyph is to promote  Blickup organization's presence. Only use glyph files available from this site.

When to Use the Glyph

Use the glyph to point to your presence on Blickup ‘s Social Media. The App Icon (shown below) is only used if you are showing it on a device with other apps or if you are encouraging people to download the Instagram app. If you’re representing Blickup in any other way, you should use the glyph.

Only use the glyph files available here. Our downloadable assets include a black glyph on a white background and a multicolor version. You can change the glyph to any solid color, as long as all other aspects of its design stay the same. We recommend showing the glyph in black or white. The glyph should always be paired with a call to action button (example: Follow us on Instagram!), unless you’re showing it in a lineup of social media icons.

Minimum Clear Space

Clear space ensures legibility and visual impact by isolating the glyph from competing visual elements. Determine the minimum clear space around the glyph by measuring one half of the glyph’s size on all sides.

Minimum Sizes

A minimum size ensures that the impact and legibility of the glyph is not compromised in application. Always maintain their set proportions and never show the glyph smaller than 29×29 pixels.


How to submit a brand permissions request

All usage of the Blickup logo requires approval. Please work closely with your Blickup contact for detailed guidelines and approvals on using Blickup brand assets in your marketing and media communications.

Blickup dedicates substantial resources to the development and protection of its intellectual property. In addition to seeking registration of its trademarks and logos around the world, Blickup enforces its rights against people who misuse its trademarks.

Blickup’s trademarks are owned by Deer Swipe and may only be used as provided in these guidelines or with Deer Swipe’s permission. A list of some of Deer Swipe’s trademarks can be found here. You may not use or register, or otherwise claim rights in any Deer Swipe trademark, including as or as part of any trademark, service mark, company name, trade name, username or domain registration. You should not use or claim rights in any trademark in a way that is confusingly similar to or dilutive of Deer Swipe’s trademarks, including as, or as any part of, a trademark. Do not use Deer Swipe’s trademarks for anything that would be inconsistent with Deer Swipe’s Terms of Service or Community Standards.

We may revoke permission to use Deer Swipe’s trademarks at any time. Deer Swipe reserves the right to withhold approval of content that it considers inconsistent with the Deer Swipe brand.
